Thank you sir; @ablaze for another Tuesday of fun to look out for, filled with music. It's a good one because I get introduced to some songs I didn't even know about whil also remembering those ones that reignites memories. It's another week to recommend beautiful songs and this is week 65. Music is beautiful and expressive which is the reason why most of us have fallen in love with it.
The first one for this week is titled 'What A Feeling' by Beautiful Nubia. You can watch the video below:
I decided to go traditional for this week and I am enjoying these songs. It's a song about love and the artist showed his interest in knowing this certain lady deeper than just the casual ways that most people are used to. Everything he says in this song centers around his feeling for a lady he would love to get to know more. He wants to know her parents and friends. He wants to be involved in every aspect of her life because of the kind of feeling she gives him whenever he sees her. He adores her smile and everything about her. This young man has caught the love bug as they always say.
This song is for you if you are in love or want to show your affection to a lady. It's fused with local language and English. It's perfect for lovers.
The second one for this week is titled 'Seven Lives' by Beautiful Nubia. You can watch the video below:
This song explains the life of the African people - the struggles, everything we are going through and how life is treating us. Cats have 9 lives they say but African people are exposed to a lot of hardships and we are still pushing long and hard, deeper and stronger. It's a song that someone who wants to understand the African ways and also appreciate what others go through need to listen to.
The third one for this week is titled 'Owuro L'ojo' by Beautiful Nubia. You can watch the video below:
The best explanation that I can give to the title of this song is 'Make Hay While The Sun Shines". This song encourages hardwork. It's a call for everyone to make the most of the morning period to be productive and not waste it away. The song emphasizes the need for us to work while we still have time because there would come a time when we would need to work but there won't be the strength for it. Make hay while the sun shines because morning time should be about being productive and not just wasting away.
These are the powerful recommendations I have for us this week while showcasing the African roots. They are all old songs from 7-9 years ago. Till I come your away again...
Cheers.
