I have been evolved with sports my entire life. When I was 4 years old my parents took my older Sister and I to a parking lot to teach her how to ride a bike without training wheels on her bike. At one point my parents let me try her bike without training wheels and I was a natural. Around this time was when I started to ice skate and ski.
When I was 6 years old I started my career in Speed Skating. I followed this passion for more the better part of twenty years. Speed Skating competitions took me all over North-America from Quebec to Milwaukee to Whitehorse. I competed at the 2007 Canada Winter Games for BC in Long Track Speed Skating. My team and I got a Bronze medal in the Team Pursuit.
A very bad knee injury lead me to return to my hometown of Kamloops, BC and finish my Bachelors in Computing Science. After completing my degree I started working as QA/Software Test Automation Engineer for Streamline Transportation Technologies Inc. (http://stti.ca/).
In November of 2016 my wife and I decided we were unhappy living in Kamloops and bought our first home at Sun Peaks Resort (https://www.sunpeaksresort.com/). Around the same time I started a new job as Software QA at Streamline Transportation Technologies Inc. where I am still working today. At Streamline we are developing a fleet management and an ELD compliant application that is set to replace the current handwritten logs that are currently used.
I am now an avid skier and love every minute on the snow and goy my first sponsor, Crazy Horse Energy (https://www.crazyhorseenergy.com/) . This year the winter season has started with some grass skiing, an Ullr festival where we sacrificed skis and snowboards, and some amazing early season skiing. I am very excited to get better at skiing, upload more videos and to share more of my stories.
