Andok's Litson Manok, which is famous for roasted chicken and roasted pork belly, originated from our province. Hence, I believe, we have the biggest Andok's all throughout the country.
Andok's offers breakfast meals. They have tocino (cured pork meat), corned beef, tapa (cured beef), bangus (milk fish), and longanisa (local sausage). All these meals are paired with sunny side up eggs and pickled papaya as a side dish, with price ranging from P80-110 ($1.80- 2.10). They also have rice toppings, which is very affordable.
We ordered milk fish with coffee and fresh buffalo milk. I love this milk. Almost always, whenever I come here for a meal, I order this. But this is my first time to order bangus for breakfast. And it is not bad. The taste of the marinated bangus fried to perfection well-suited my taste. Everything goes well with each other--the sunny side up, fried bangus, fried rice neutralized by the pickled papaya. It's a perfect combination!
This restaurant is quite big because this is located at the government center and is near to many schools, so it caters many government employees and students.
They have an air-conditioned section and non-air-conditioned section as well. Usually, non-airconditioned section is occupied during late afternoons when the temperature cools down. Beer drinkers enjoy their beer here.
The restaurant's design is pretty simple and neat.
I love this handicraft hanging near the comfort room.
The employees are also welcoming, friendly and polite.
And their food is also good. It is very suitable for our Filipino taste.
All in all, we were satisfied with our breakfast. It's a good start for a brand new day.
