It's another week of #AlphabetHunt, and now it's already a hunt for R.
Here's my collection.
RAINBOW
It's not everyday that I get to see a "perfect" rainbow, but I would say I saw one. Maybe it will be once in a lifetime so I cherish this photo.
We were on the road, and we have to stop to take a snap. Glad I'm in a private vehicle. I just asked my husband to pull over, or else this rare chance had slipped before me.
ROOSTER
I was walking in the neighborhood this morning when I spotted this rooster roaming around. What a coincidence! And a cellphone comes in handy!
ROSAL
Rosal is a dainty, fragrant flower of the Philippines. It doesn't belong to the rose family, but it is also a shrub and quite looks like a rose, though it doesn't have thorns.
I love the scent of rosal. It is especially fragrant at night.
REPTILES
We visited Manila Ocean Park the other year and one of their attraction is the "world of reptiles and crawling crawlies."
We see different ones--snakes, lizards. Scary I would say. But it's very educational for our little one, so it's worth going this area.
ROOT CROPS
These are the roots crops produced from our garden. We grow and harvest cassava and sweet potato (and we also have taro but its not in the picture).
Boiled cassava/sweet potato is the easiest way to enjoy them. But there are endless ways of preparing them, so we always have these crops in our garden.
RESTAURANT
This is one of the chic restaurant in our city. I love this restaurant because of it's witty menu, aside from its cozy atmosphere. Their menu includes "Pork Bidden Love," "Steak to One," "Fish Be With You," and many other captivating names.
They also have witty sayings here and there.
And they serve the yummiest "halo-halo," an infamous Filipino dessert, which means "mix-mix" if translated literally.
RELAX
As a bonus, let me add this small guy relaxing in his own small chair... 😁😂
