Late last month until early this month, it has been harvest time for most of our crops, so this month is mostly planting.
We have transferred the capsicum from the nursery to the pots. Because it is too hot, we put banana trunk over it for two to three days in order to give a shade to the newly transplanted seedlings, this way it has a great chance of survival. In our case, it is 100% successful--not a seedling died! Congratulations to us!

We have harvested our cassava, and we had a quite bountiful harvest. We have tried many different ways of cooking cassava so that we will not get tired of eating the boiled ones. We are so blessed to have a very good variety.
A day or two after the harvest, we planted another batch of cassava. It would take 8-9 months of waiting again. Now, it's starting to sprout.
I have mentioned in my previous garden journal that we are about to harvest our papaya. Well, it happened Few days ago. We harvested our papaya for the first time! And it was super sweet!!!
We waited for it to ripen at the papaya tree itself. And it was all worth the wait! Now I realized why "patience is a virtue." Hahaha! 馃榿
Our lady fingers have never ceased to give us its produce each and every day. We have thanked Jehovah God countless times for his blessings! Even the lady finger in the pot is already giving us its produce!
The little bud of American lemon is already this big. I can't wait to have some, to make lime water. Hahaha! I have been thinking of so many ways to use this, even before we could harvest it. Hahaha! 馃槀
All is well in our garden. Hopefully, we will have a plenty of harvest in the next months to come. 馃槉
