This is my favorite cloud formation over a beautiful sunset, not just because this has been a magical sight, but because of the adventure we went through to chase this. But it's all worth it!
We drove into the top of the hill just to get a glimpse of this marvelous sunset. Yet, tall trees blocked our view. So walked through abandoned houses and climbed an abandoned tower for a better view. I'm glad we did. There, with an unobstructed view, we savor the beauty of the sun as it bids goodbye for yet another day.
The song that goes, "I don't want to close my eyes ... because I don't want to miss a thing" was the exact feeling that I was feeling then. I don't want to even blink. I was just in awe with the show unfolding before my eyes. The ever changing hues of gold, and reds, and blues, and everything in between, was awe-inspiring. I can only praise Jehovah God, the Creator of the sun and the clouds and everything we see, for His artistry that is beyond any artist could ever paint!!!
