Winter returned to the south of the UK, last weekend, after a much milder snap. In fact we had the warmest day on record in Feburary.
It was much the same last year when I took these photographs. This time around we've had wind, rain and cold but not the snow.
Many of the spring flowers were decimated last year but I found this bunch of primroses and these daffodils bravely combating the snow and cold.

Pretty much the same deal now but with wind rather than snow doing the damage. All the daffs at the front of the house are bent right over. 😢
The temperatures are on the rise again though. It's blue skies and a balmy 10 degrees today, so hopefully the flowers and blossoms that survived the storms will be OK now! 😁 ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
