Purple Clematis

We've just returned after a lovely day exploring North Cornwall.

I took a number of photographs for @kalemandra's daily color challenge and tried to post them on my phone without success. No matter. I just had to wait until I got back and could use the computer.

This one is a purple clematis which was growing on a pretty cottage in Port Isaac.

I'm wondering whether I should have saved it for an indigo day perhaps, since they are rarer to find? 😁
