Its been a long time coming. I still have not come to full terms with the idea. I hope, in terms of future things, coming back will be on the table.
In a few short weeks I will be leaving East Africa. I've called various parts of it my home for the past 18 years. Lived a couple of different lives and experienced all sorts of adventures. Fell in love, fell out of it, flew high with expectations, crashed low with reality.
Apparently there is a proverb that says: "Once you drink from the Nile, you are destined to return". That is a great sentiment. I hope it is true.
Kwaheri. Till we meet again. Soon I hope, or at least not to long from now.
