Steemit Accelerator Hub known to everyone as stach, has finally arrived in Uyo. Thanks to wonderful steemians like @ejemai, @destinysaid and @nairadaddy steemians in uyo finally gets a place to sit, meet people, steem and build our community.
The days event took for with quite a rush, aside from it being a saturday for me it was a saturday with a purpose, I had something to look forward to. It's the steemit Uyo Hub launch day. Actually, I was quite nervous being a very shy person and I asked my friend @alisonudeme " How would I relate with them ? , I am scared of crowds". Obviously she laughed and said " Just be cool, You'll get along ".
To my surprise I would say I did just fine. I arrived just in time to meet @ejemai cutting the ribbon and officially opening the hub.
Certainly that wasn't all, there was a speech also from @nairadaddy of airclinic, @gbenga and also from our very own @samstickks .
There was a cake from @sussan and there was also refreshments in general. The presence of all wonderful steemains too @bundis10, @evelyniroh, @annieben, @ungest, @elizabethscarlet, @ifioklee, @ishotz, and everyone present at the launch was also noted and it was a very wonderful feeling getting to meet most of them in person.
All in all I had a really exciting day and I know everyone did too. Thumbs up to steemit Uyo community.
