I really enjoyed your post! The photos of the temple and surrounding mountains are both very beautiful, but also powerful and profound. You can see in some of the night photos the steam rising from the warm bodies of the worshippers and it really makes me feel like I am there. Being cold and tired might not be something we want to do all the time, but I think it does help us to be more alert to the present moment, which is exactly what you want in a spiritual place like this.
