I am absolutely saddened by what I see around me. Daily I hear about people struggling to keep head above water and they just don't have any will leftover. People are stressed. Stressed because they cannot help themselves anymore, and they have nothing to hold onto. They have used all their backups and are now in need.
People are stuck in hospitals, without their families, and their families are stressing about what is going on at the hospital. Rules change daily and we are confused.
Many feel helpless and lost and some feel as if there is just no hope anymore. Many have had to lower their living standards because they just cannot keep up anymore. Some people have nothing left. They lost their businesses and they don't know where their next meal is going to come from. How do you tell a child that there is no money left for food?
It's getting winter. If people do not even have the basic needs how are they going to afford warm clothes and blankets?
One of my favorite television shows is "New Amsterdam" without any doubt, I have learned quite a lot from that show.
The first words Max says when he meets someone is "How can I help?"
Today I want to challenge everyone out there, to ask this question to someone when you meet them. "How can I help?"
Each and every one of us come in contact with new people on a daily basis. These people might not be part of our daily lives and they might not stay in our lives, but by just asking this one question you can change the world for someone.
People don't like to beg and ask others for help, but if you ask first then the case is halfway won.
I will much rather accept help from someone who asked if they could help me than to walk up to someone and ask. Help them get out of the darkness back into the light.
God will not let you go through anything in life if you are not equipped to handle it.
Help the people around you and pray for them. Teach them how to pray. The only thing God asks us, is to believe in HIM and to trust in HIM.
He has given us a simple prayer to pray and in that prayer, it clearly gives us the rules we have to live by.
Good deeds are NOT going to let you into heaven, but leading people back to God will. It is our duty here on Earth to bring people back to our Father in Heaven. He sent His son to die for our sins, and ultimately HE is the only ONE that can bring us all back to normal. All we need to do is to follow His word and believe and trust.
After every dark cloud, there is a silver lining!
