Reading to reflect:
Psalm 13: 5-6 New King James Version (NKJV)
5 But I have trusted in your mercy;
My heart will be glad in your salvation.
6 I will sing to Jehovah,
Because it has done me good
All human beings need someone to comfort us in times of trouble as we also need friends and family to enjoy ourselves in times of joy. However, the times of joy we will always find with whom to share it because sometimes in times of afflictions there are few who are at our side.
In this sense it is motivating to read David's psalms because in them we find encouraging words from someone who experienced very sad processes but never lost hope because his trust was placed in God.
David trusted in God's mercy, rejoiced in the salvation of the one who had offered him peace and hope.
And today my call is that you fill yourself with hope and trust in the only one who does good to you Jehovah of the Army.
