Being in peace is one of the challenges of recent times in humanity because today this word is mentioned a lot but scarcely fulfilled.Many people currently live in fear, worry and stress because of what they have to face every day .
However, God has called us with a promise to give us his peace, he has told us that the peace that He gives us is a true apaz that surpasses all understanding.
The psalmist David was a man who had a Godlike heart that could really experience the peace of God, and I express it joyfully in Psalm 4: 8 in this way:
"In peace I will lie down and so I will also sleep; because only you, Lord, make me live safely."

Only God can give man security in any scenario, because the peace of God gives confidence hope and joy. The Lord Jesus told his disciples: "I give you my peace, my peace I leave you and I do not give it as the world gives it."
This teaches us that the peace of the world cannot be matched with the peace that God offers us, that peace of the world is not lasting but the peace of God is eternal and manifests itself at any moment, whether it be adversity or joy.
When we experience the peace of God, we can even experience this peace in the middle of deserts because it surpasses all understanding, that's why the psalmist says. In peace I will lie down and I will also sleep because only your lord makes me live in confidence.
Only God can fill us with faith and hope, let us learn to trust his word and rest on his promises.
