Yesterday I wrote about how $1 invested into SHIBU INA in January 2021 would turn int $400K today.

If you would like to get into new coins/tokens "sniping", here is mini-tutorial how to do it using CoinGecko.

Please keep in mind most (if not all of them) of those coins will turn into a dust and financial loss for their hodlers, so be cautious and don't invest too much if you decided to invest at all :)
This is not a financial advice.

On the main page there is New Coins category:

Check out the price - we want something super cheap so it can go up drastically.
You should also take a look at following:

  • 24h trading volume: the higher the better as it could mean there is either a whale or community behind it or there is genuine interest
  • Number of holders: can tell you how many different accounts is holding the coin
  • Chain: I personally prefer BSC as I can use Pancake Swap which seems to be most popular option for trading these tokens

Once you made the decision, time to check the detail on the coin page:

On the right side you can get Contract address so you can add it to the Metamask/Pancake Swap. There are also links to website and social media. It is worth looking at these, even if they can be faked. There must be some activity going on - even if project is a fake it is always good if scammers put some work into it :)

Number of people who like it is the number of people who added it to their portfolio, so they probably bought a share. The higher the number the better :)

Now, let's go to the market page and try to buy some of our coin:

If you click that pair link, it should take you to the Pancake Swap. The address it tries to open is:

https://pancakeswap.finance/swap#/swap?outputCurrency=0xfe82eff54a58c21ffc9523c4998d5dad84dcbd50

While I found out this address works better for me:

https://pancakeswap.finance/swap?outputCurrency=0xfe82eff54a58c21ffc9523c4998d5dad84dcbd50

After some time Pancake Swap window should detect new token and show up a warning. The process takes some time and I had to reload the page few times to make it work, but eventually it displayed this:

We understand the risk and are ready to buy:

Now if you try to buy it with default Slippage Tolerance (1%), it will probably fail due to output too low. You need to change slippage to something like 8% or more - it means you will pay more for the coins but this is the only way I could make it work (as I was buying very small amounts just for fun of it).

If you register with CoinGecko, you can add the selected coins to your portfolio and quickly track their progress.

Who knows, maybe one of them will turn you into a millionaire? I hope it does, good luck to all of you!
