The Solar system consists of the Sun and the 8 planets revolving around it.
These planets are as follows:
It is the innermost planet of the Solar system having an orbit of 88 days around the Sun. It is named aftet the Roman diety Mercury who was the messenger of Gods.
It is the 2nd closest planet to the Sun having an orbit of 243 days around the Sun. It is named after the Roman Goddess Venus, The Goddess of love and beauty.
Our planet Earth is the 3rd planet from the Sun and the only known planet where life exists having an orbit of 365 days around the Sun.
The red planet Mars is the 4th in the Solar system. It is named after the Roman God f War, Mars.
Jupiter is the 5th and the biggest and most massive planet of the Solar system.
The 6th planet of the Solar system is Saturn and it is the most beautiful planet. Take a look:
Uranus is the 7th planet of the Solar system known as one of the Ice giants. It is named after the Greek God, Ouranos.
It is the 8th planet of the Solar system and known as the second ice giant. It has the largest orbit around the Sun of about 165 years.
