All of us know that the ancient Egyptians had some special and at same time strange beliefs I'm going to mention some of them to show you some aspects of the life of those great people...and the way they were thinking....the most fascinating thing is that some of their beliefs and traditions were scientifically proven but they reached them instinctively .....let's go:

when the Ancient Egyptians were going to mummify the dead body they were evacuating it from all organs beginning from the brain till they reach the intestine. They were putting every organ in a specific jar which they called the Canopic Jars. But they left only one organ in the dead body which is the heart because they believed that the dead person will need his heart during his final judgement in the other world.

Another strange fact about the Ancient Egyptians is that when they wanted to know the gender of the fetus , they were watering some wheat and barley with urine of the pregnant woman.....and if the wheat grown up then it's a female while the growing up of the barley meant that it's a male.
