Before we get started;
I'd like to go ahead and give a small personal introduction, so without further-a-due, hey guys, I'm ggteixeira or just Ggt for short. I've been around Steemit for give or take six months now and have spent my time here both reading or making content due to with games. I personally love games. I've been playing them ever since I was a kid. I also happened to really like reading and writing. So keeping those two things in mind, I'm sure you guys could imagine how happy I was when I found out about Steemit. Here I find myself able to read and learn more about video games while also creating my own posts sharing some of my gaming stories or knowledge.
So far for this half-year I've really enjoyed my stay on this site and plan on sticking to it for a great many years to come. So, if you happen to find yourself into gaming content and what-not, check out my profile
Moving on;
I'll be giving a brief description on DTube, a Steemit application I've been using to upload my videos to Steemit.
DTube is a sort of YouTube but linked to Steemit instead. There content creators can upload and share videos easily with others on Steemit. The videos there can also be up-voted and commented on which is shared on Steemit as well. For a gamer like me who loves uploading his clips and sharing them, DTube is a dream come true.
If you want to learn more about DTube what better place than a post made by the actual creator himself which you can find here. Furthermore if for whatever reason you find yourself with any questions or concerns regarding DTube, leave them in the replies section below and I'll answer as soon as possible.
About the Video!
Now we'll be talking about the actual video itself. First and foremost, be warned. This video is not for the light-hearted and has some very hostile/inappropriate content in it. Most of the bad consists of some of my friends swearing/cussing me/each other out in the background. They tend to say some pretty ignorant and hateful things in good fun, but still bad none the less, so keep that in mind before watching. Sorry!
But again, back to it. This video is a full unedited League of Legends Corki game-play I had where I popped off. My team was doing relatively bad most the beginning of the game but despite the odds I pulled through and managed to carry the game. There was a lot of outplays and just funny moments to watch all throughout, so make sure you watch all 30-minutes if you got the time!
What is League of Legends?
Here's a quick description I've written up for previous League of Legends oriented posts.
"League of Legends (abbreviated LoL) is a multiplayer online battle arena video game developed and published by Riot Games for Microsoft Windows and macOS. The game follows a freemium model and is supported by microtransactions, and was inspired by the Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne mod, Defense of the Ancients." A perfect description of the game which I borrowed from it's own wiki page.
I'd also like to add on that League of Legends is considered a MOBA game. What does this mean? Well, it means that it's a mix between RPG and RTS genre games where you select a champion from a large pool on heroes to play controlling them as you do battle on whichever map and game-mode you pick. League has a variety of different maps and game modes, but the single most popular is it's standard 5v5 on Summoner's Rift where the objective is to through whatever means get through the enemies' defenses and destroy their nexus (base) whilst also trying to protect your own. One reason why this game-mode is so popular is because of it's only use in the League of Legends large pro competitive scene.
Wrapping this post up.
So with that all out of the way, I hope you guys like the post. Again to any frequent readers of mine, for the next bit I'm going to post more randomly instead of sticking to a set schedule like I set up before. But, I'll definitely get back on schedule whenever the holidays clear up and I have more consistent time. Either way, I hope you guys liked today's content and if you did make sure to leave an upvote then follow, it's always appreciated! I like hoping so I hope you guys had a merry Christmas and when it comes a happy New Year!
