Personal Introduction
Hey guys, I'm ggteixeira, or as my friends call me, Ggt for short. I've been apart of the Steemit community for about five months now reading and writing gaming related content. Before Steemit, I loved playing all kinds of different video games. I still do, but now, I love not just playing but sharing my gaming adventures too. If you yourself are an avid gamer like myself and enjoy reading up on anything to do gaming, feel free to check out my profile at @ggteixeira. Follows are always appreciated and help me bring more content to you guys, the readers! Steemit content creators like myself would be nothing without all of you; the community!
About today's Video
Today's video will be a short Overwatch Soldier: 76 game-play. The video is relatively old but I still think it's pretty cool and it showcases some of my skill on the Soldier: 76 hero. Soldier: 76's play-style is the typical first person shooter run and gun. He's been referred to as the 'Call of Duty' character due to how similar his play-style is to Call of Duty's game mechanics. I myself personally have been playing Call of Duty for a while now and found that my skills transferred over onto the character. A skilled Soldier: 76 has some insane damage output and while squishy, can heal himself up, trade with others and just seriously cause some havoc on the battlefield. If you're looking for an offense champion to play and a simple one to get into, look no further. I hope you guys enjoy the vide.
About the Game
I just thought I'd give a brief description on Overwatch for anyone out there who didn't already know. Overwatch is a first-person objective based shooter. Players instead of the traditional load-out system pick from a large pool of unique champions each with different skills and abilities which they then use in an attempt to win their matches. The game is sort of like an upgraded Team fortress 2 and is really fun and addictive. It has a sort of arcade/cartoony feel to it.
Don't let that dissuade you competitive players though. Overwatch has a very serious competitive scene and a ranked game-mode in-game that lets players climb a ladder in an attempt to get to the top. It can be frustrating at times and has it's flaws, but over-all, I'd say Overwatch is a great game. If you have the money laying around, I'd suggest picking it up this holiday season (But try Team fortress 2 for free on Steam to see if you'd like this sorta game)!
Wrapping it up
I want to go ahead and before anything apologize for not posting a 7 Days to Die post as promised. My girlfriend surprised me and came over for the holidays leaving me with little time to play the game let alone write up some quality content regarding it. Instead, I thought I'd share this short Overwatch gameplay post instead with you guys as a sort of compensation. For the next few days my posting schedule and format may be a bit out of whack, or I may just not have time to post and I'm sorry. I'll let you guys know when I'll be able to get back into normal posting schedule and I promise I'll make up for this unexpected issue. With that out of the way I'd like to thank you all for checking the post and hope you guys enjoyed it. I hope everyone's favorite festive season has been great so far!
