If you've kept up with the current happenings in the cryptoworld you'll know there's an ongoing battle between BTC and BCH. Currently there's a good chance that BCH might actually take over as the "new" BTC.
BTC has very high fees and is generally a better store of value rather than sending currency. Mostly just because sending a transaction nowadays costs $10+! BCH has faster transaction times, high profits on mining, and much much lower fees.
Keep yourself updated, BCH could be taking over.
