Super volcano eruption- We only have one year to prepare ourselves

Supervulcans can trigger a new ice age and kill millions of people or devastate entire continents. Researchers have found out that such natural disasters are announced only one year in advance. They investigated quartz minerals in a crater in California. Using these minerals, the researchers were able to calculate how much time elapsed before the first pressure was released until the erection. Just a year, then.

However, no great "pressure" has been released anywhere yet. :)
