Sansevierias Trifasciata:
Hello dear friends of the succulent growers community, I am happy to bring here my collection of Sansevierias Trifasciatas.
This is a plant originating from India and Africa but nowadays it's very widespread in warm climate areas.
This type of plant is made up of several types of plant species with leaves of different shapes and thickness, the one I bring to light today is this type. Its common name is St. George's sword, mother-in-law's tongue, are just two of its common names, this plant behaves like a succulent plant.
It has elongated, lanceolate and rigid leaves. Although there are other species I only keep this type, its leaves are green with short, irregular, darker green, horizontal lines, these lines are arranged over the entire surface of the leaf and the edges are yellow.
It's a perennial plant that is very easy to handle because it does not require much care from the interested party. It can be kept both indoors and outdoors as it supports very well the sun and shade. The only thing to keep in mind when keeping it in the shade is that the yellow color of the leaf edge becomes less intense, it can almost turn to beige.
I like so much to have them at home for the benefits it provides. It purifies the environment by oxygenating the place, I keep it in many places in my home and in my office, I highly recommend it in these times.
Thank you all for your comments and votes.
