JavaScript I

Goals and Instructions

This lesson will be going through the basic concepts of javascript I and the best programming standarts and practices so when you go to
find a job our skills are the ones will dicide at the end of the day.

The d-facto "Web" language is JavaScript. Without it, there is no web.
All web browsers use JavaScript in some fashion to power rich user experiences for those
interacting with a web page or application. I love to look at JavaScript through this analogy.

The House Analogy

Think of a web page as a house. You need someone to architect and get in the structure of your house, someone to add in the design, and someone to add in the electricity to power the house. If you were to think about HTML, CSS and JavaScript as the three necessary building blocks, for a web page, HTML could be the architecture/layout of what your house should be, CSS is the design/style of your house and JavaScript powers the electrical interactions that our house needs to have in order to be functional.

JavaScript is everywhere today! And we have the opportunity here to dive deep enough into the language to teach you how to be proficient in building modern, complex and beautiful web applications that are used to power the web today!

Let's start

I think the best way of learning is doing and getting dirty so:

1.) Create a github account (Here we are going to save our code).

2.) Create an account in https://c9.io (Is an online Ide to write code).

3.) Download Chrome so we can deboug our javascript code.

Let's start going through some code and from there we will start understanding
conceptsand apply good practices.
