Actualmente me desempeño como Docente en la **Universidad de Oriente** dictando la cátedra de **Introducción a la Programación** a estudiantes de ingeniería, pero que no tienen nada que ver con computación ni sistemas, es decir, personas que nunca se han planteado programar. Los jóvenes que entran a mis clases son de distintas ramas de la ingeniería cómo Petroleo, Mecánica, Civil, Industrial y Química.
I currently work as a teacher at the **Universidad de Oriente** giving the chair of **Introduction to Programming** to engineering students, but who have nothing to do with computing or systems, that is, people who never know they have planned to program. Claro, cómo ya sabemos la programación se ha ido amalgamando cómo un lenguaje digital universal en cualquier area profesional y hasta como area de entretenimiento. Para muestra, desarrollos como: la telemedicina, robótica médica, documentos legales en blockchain, obras de arte en NFT y muchas más aplicaciones que se pierden en infinitas posibilidades.
Of course, as we already know, programming has been amalgamated as a universal digital language in any professional area and even as an entertainment area. For example, developments such as: telemedicine, medical robotics, legal documents in blockchain, works of art in NFT and many more applications that are lost in infinite possibilities.
Mucho antes de la pandemia me dediqué a investigar un poco sobre las clases online, debido a que se me había planteado dictar clases del postgrado **Informática Gerencial** en la cátedra de **Sistemas Operativos Modernos** en otro campus ubicado en otro estado del país. Esta experiencia me permitió que mis clases no fueran tan traumaticas durante el confinamiento.
