Hello Hive Nails community!!!

I have many years to post in this community and i really miss it because in every nail set and every photo, i was thinking of how i could representing those images.

In this post i would like to share some winter nail designs that i did last year actually.

As you can see my favorite color is blue in any shade, but specially the darkest shades.

The concept for this one is when you look outside of a frozen window.
As base color i used dark blue gel polish and blue holographic powder.
On top i had to use matte top coat because the frost around the nail and the snowflakes are painted with white paste and it works only on matte surface.

The trick for the frost around was to use a small brush for the eye shadows, and use just a little of the paste everytime to work with it without turn it all the way white.
For the snowflakes i used a dotting tool and a thin liner brush.

For this one i wanted to create a frozen situation, quite similar with the previous one but in this case in the end of the nail i tried to create ice.
First i applied at the back of the false nail a medium layer of builder gel where i would create the ice, and then i used a nylon paper and with a wooden stick/pusher i tried to move the gel to make it like 3d. After the curing i removed the nylon paper and i applied top coat.

For the color i used midnight blue, a lighter blue and base coat to do an ombre nail without covering the ice i just created.
After the matte top coat i did the snowflakes with white paste.
The hardest thing here was to do the little star with too thin lines. I had to do it more than three times to make it as i wished.

The plan for this one was to create a landscape of snow and maybe a lake but ended up of doing a path.
For this one i used three shades of blue to create a frozen sky while the night comes.
Next i was thinking of how i could do one element to be relative with the concept.

I thought of snowy railings and in front of it could be lake but i couldn't understand how i would do it so i ended up of doing a path of snow.
The star here is bigger than the other one.

And last but not least i did a melty snowman.
I didn't want to use once again blue so i used a 5D cat eye in pink and green reflection.

I clearly see that this snowman could be a lot better.
It looks like a fried egg.
