I couldn't have the chance to see the two giant rubber ducks together because of the rainy weather the whole day last Saturday and Sunday morning.
For some reason, the organiser has decided to cut off the time for the giant rubbers; originally, it was planned to be displayed until 28th June, but suddenly they announced that their last day would be 18th June.
On Sunday, 18th June, one of them moved around the Victoria Harbour coastline from 1 pm to 3 pm to celebrate Father's Day; once completed the tour, they will be deflated and taken away.
There was an option to buy souvenirs of the rubber ducks; however, most of them were sold out already.
I have seen on the news that they have also decorated with this theme the Giant Buda on Lantau Island with small rubber ducks. I couldn't see it because Lantau island is far from my home and the metro fee is expensive.
Also, I had the chance to see a tram decorated with this theme.
I like how they decorated the Admiralty metro station, especially how they fixed the big glass window outside the metro station with a duck face.
The slogan is "double duck, double luck", and as you might know, most Chinese people are superstitious.
In Tsim Sha Tsui, the seaside view was completely crowded because people didn’t want to miss the chance to see the rubber duck taking around the coastline.
