Hi all. I saw a post I think by the author of Steem Voter that was re-steemed and thought why not sign up and so I did. So I thought after 2 or 3 weeks of use I'd give you my verdict on it. You can sign up to it here: https://steemvoter.com/
I setup the account and put in my Posting Private Key and with the Steem Power I had at the time this gave me 3 rules I could add (steemit accounts I want to upvote automatically). I put in @barrydutton,
@lukewearechange and
@x22report
Then I waited a few days....
And what do you know... Steem started to dribble in from curation rewards.
Here you can see my Account Front page.
If you look under "Last Steem Power" section that is a button at first, you press it and it updates with your current Steem Power. Over 100 SP and you get 10 Rules (steemit accounts) that you can add and they'll be upvoted also.
If you are interested in using Steem Voter I'd recommend it. Choose some good active accounts that you like the posts of and set the delay to 30 minutes. I heard voting earlier than that carries a penalty?!
Anyways, below is the list of accounts that I have so far added. I added them because I really like their posts and I do genuinely read them, but with an ever increasing list of people I'm following now and the Feed channel filling up I don't want to miss an upvote on them :-)
I'm still not sure about Voting Power, I set them all at 10% but I think I could put them all at 100%? Maybe someone who knows more about the Steem blockchain can confirm this or not?
Anyways it seems with more Steem Power you get more rules or accounts you can vote on and it's basically a way of mining steem on the website.
The terms of using Steem Voter say they may use a vote or two at some point for their own posts but I haven't so far seen this so the creator isn't abusing your voting power and is from what I've seen from the site of good integrity and honours this trust you place by using his/her site.
Below is an example of Steem coming into my wallet. If the channels you put in the 'rules' post regularly, multiple times per day then you have the potential to get a nice, steady flow of Steem coming in :) I think with more steem power your vote counts for more and so you'll get more return too?
This is just one of an increasing number of websites I use to look at and benefit from using steemitdotcom. Useful if you are away from a computer or not on the website for a long time for whatever reason and you want to be sure that the channels you follow and like the most get the benefit of your SP and so your support.
Be safe and be prepared.
