My goal was to prevent any more erosion and transportation of sediment from the drainage path into the basin. I want to keep the sediment out of the basin as best I can, and as of now I think I have a pretty good setup. As can bee seen in the video, rocks and dirt and sediment are all swept downstream in the torrent of rushing water, even though it is such a small volume of flow there is always scouring from the water because the dirt is so loose as it is. Environmental damage caused by earthquakes and Tsunami waves can cause damage to settlements and ecosystems of the environment, especially coastal areas.
