On steemit in order to make the post easier the system uses whats called markdown syntax, the good thing is you can just write a post as you might an e-mail. But if you want your post to look good [styling] you need to know some syntax. That is why the Markdown Styling Guide is at the top right of the posting window. It's a good guild except when it comes to images. Not that it doesn't tell you how to post images, it just does not show what options you may want to use. As I did not find this help file when I looked for it, I made this to help those like me, looking for the remedy.
Will pull the image to the left and wrap the text around the image. You can also pull to the right or center.
You can also use this if you drag and drop the image, but you will have to manually put the syntax in place. ( if you didn't get that just ask)
The image looks like this with no syntax. And the text will appear under the image if you skip a line, otherwise the text will start right after the image.
The image looks like this (top) with no syntax. And the text will appear under the image if you skip a line, otherwise the text will start right after the image.
(looks like you don't know what you are doing !)
I'm new here so of cause, like everyone else I have been looking for what to do to get
more eyes on my post. I read that the best way to do this is to have interesting content
on a well-formatted page. See how the text wraps around the image
Hope this helps some of you get more upvotes.
If someone knows how to play an audio file on steem please post the code.
Thanks
