I get u, I wasn't a fan either, but my first cat (that passed away 'cause a disease) chose us, appearing in our garden and he made me fall in love with cats and made my interest in understanding their behavior grow❤️. They are loyal when you're loyal and kind to them, and they love you if you teach then to love you! And when a cat choose you there is no way u can resist it.
