It really is the hardest part, losing them, but at the same time, many of them were lodgepole pines and were at the end of their lifespan. The larch were the one's that hurt me the most, but the amount of trees up here are endless so it's not the end of the world, just a bit on the painful side.
Right now dump truck load after dump truck load of tree offal and soil is going by my window, it's wild.
I harvested my first garlic today, I bet yours, especially with all that heat back there is already ready?!?
