Ooh, with the whole realm of housing being in such a mess, I really love that you posted about this topic!
My dream was to build a post and beam strawbale house with beams we milled from trees on our homestead and straw bales from a neighboring farm. We didn't get to go that route, but I still think I might build a strawbale tiny house some day.
I have a friend who has a few yurts on their homestead, they are pretty cool and not too costly. The sandbag building reminded me of cob structures. There are just so many outside the box options, I love that your awesome post sent me down that thought rabbit hole, thanks for that😊
