Why are you still holding HIVE?

Well, I sold 80% my stake when we pumped above .40 in December 2024, got 5 weeks out of a power down for .45 average , kept it going to sell 30K total for .38 cent average all 10 weeks. Also sold my 4K HSBI at .43 cents so that’s like selling another 2K Hive. I saw we would 100% be heading to a dime, I saw the trend when we went below our .25 bear cycle bottom of 2022, and we hit .14 cents in August 2024. The DHF being a slush fund was one reason too besides the price action. I sold 100K hive in 2021 above $1.50 and that made me house money, but seeing where things would go that just wasn’t enough reason not to sell most my stake during that obvious artificial pump to .68 January 2025. I got lucky having one power down week release above .60 but regardless even getting out below the cycle top was worth it for me. I don’t mind letting a few thousand dump after being house money, but the DHF & abuse issues I see, made me wanna sell more than half and I’m glad I did. I love the hive community, but all I see is most accounts even our sizes, just delegate for 90% there upvotes and starting to look like Steemit where it’s no people and 90% bought votes , I said I’m not playing that game and even sold more at .22 cents middle of 2025. Now I’m at 2500 HP & powering down again solely as protest against the DHF waste & abuse among the devs & witnesses not being honest and just pretending things are great. I got lucky buying 100K plus hive at a dime in 2020/2021 and seeing it pump 1000% plus and making gains, that made me not care about my remaining tens of thousands HP going to zero. But seeing the ridiculous amount of abuse & waste & BS from DHF/Devs and more, I’m selling it all in protest. Maybe I’ll leave a grand just for giggles but I’m powering down again, just glad I sold the big amounts much higher. Nobody wanted to listen when I said we’d go sub dime for sure, I tried telling friends here to just take a small amount off and locking in gains above .40 and they’d be able to buy back under a dime or maybe nickel. Nobody wanted to believe the obvious.
