A Republic, Not A Democracy by Dan Smoot 1966 (4/18/66)

This is true, a democracy is one of the worst forms of government. It always becomes mob rule, the 51% vote to terrorize the 49% and what not. Obviously not an exact % breakdown but you get the point. America began as a republic, it still had some of those original systems in place but many were lost Such as how The senate used to be elected by state legislatures, not the population. The masses had the congress. Anyway it really is more like a democracy today though still has the skeleton of a republic. Democracy always ends with fools voting to take from the minority and it ends always in collapse at some point.
