I bought my only lump sum big one at 59K. I won’t be trying to time any other buys. I actually stopped dollar cost averaging after hitting a number I’m good with. Below 70K I will start again regularly but otherwise I’m just holding my current number. I’m back to gold instead, mostly due to Bitcoin growing so much it turned into biggest holding. If we dip below 70 I’ll buy a grand worth every two - three weeks again, above 70K Gold instead. What I got is what I got if we never see sub 70K again and it’s enough. I got to my goal and now I’m good with hedging it with Gold. If Bitcoin keeps growing I’ll never catch up in dollar value terms no matter never buying bitcoin again and buying gold with all my dollar cost averaging money. But I’m hedging it so if that Bitcoin pile ever fails at least I will hand been buying gold regularly for years. Fortunately I set myself up to do this that way. It’s a win/win situation now. Took years of sacrifice to do it but it was worth it.
