Today Resurrection Sunday is the date when many people go to the Catholic and Christian Churches, they go to the countryside, to the city, to the beach, to the river, in short, each family together. Today I made the decision to stay home to remember a little the traditions and customs of Easter. Today I wanted to prepare an exquisite dish that every year cannot be missing from the Venezuelan table, El Famoso Arroz Con Coco.

Hoy Domingo de Resurrección fecha donde mucha gente va a las Iglesias católica y cristiana, van al campo, a la ciudad, a la playa, al río, en fin, cada familia junta. Hoy tomé la decisión de quedarme en casa para recordar un poco las tradiciones y costumbres de Semana Santa. Hoy quise preparar un plato exquisito que todos los años no puede faltar en la mesa venezolana, El Famoso Arroz Con Coco.
The procedure to prepare this exquisite was as follows:
El procedimiento para preparar este exquisito fue el siguiente:
- Step #1: The first thing I did was turn on the stove, and once it was on I prepared a medium size Cauldron with Water.
- Step #2: Add 1 Kilo of rice to the water and stir.
- Step #3: We grate the coconut then add it to the cauldron so that it boils and softens with the Rice.
- Step #4: After the Rice and Coconut are Soft, we begin to add the milk and stir evenly
- Step #5: Add a Kilo of Sugar and panela and stir gently.
- Step #6: We continue stirring slowly so that all the ingredients are well integrated.
- Step #7: Finally we remove the boiler from the heat and wait for it to rest to serve and taste a rich and delicious Rice with Coconut.
