Hashkings 102 - Water Baron

One of the most common (and important) question when people discuss about blockchain games is "How much is the potential income?"

As a farming simulator, there are 3 main roles stated in their "start-here" discord channel that can be played in this game, each of which has their own main source of income and style of play:

1-Water Baron

• Buy Water Towers --> Produce daily HKWATER
• Sell the HKWATER

2-Seed Supplier

• Buy BUDS.
• Burn the BUDS into MOTA. (or you can invest in MOTA directly).
• Stake the MOTA.
• Receive Seeds periodically.
• Sell the Seeds.

3-Farmer

• Buy lands.
• Buy seeds & water (or become self-sufficient).
• Plant & water the seeds.
• Harvest the seeds into BUDS when ripe.
• Sell the BUDS.

In this post, I will try to explain more about (pure) Water Baron. I myself is a farmer, so my explanation will be on math instead of experience.

Advantages:

• Minimum work required --> Passive income
• Steady income --> The daily water production is fixed. All farmer need some water. Only variable that will affect your expected income is the water price itself, which is rather stable lately.

Disadvantages:

• Limited income --> Compared to farmer, at least with current water price.

To keep things short, let's go straight to the table. Check their game guide or discord channel first if you don't understand how the game works yet.

*The table above assumed that you buy your own water tower at level 1, then upgrade it in-game.
*Joint price to increase your avatar level is not included.
*Price used is price at the time of the writing.

Keep in mind that the water tower is not a consumable (even though I write it as ROI) so you can sell it later (with a chance of higher price), and hope someone want to buy it. It might not seems much at first glance if we compared to the some crypto fast-rich events, but I can say 9% interest a month is pretty good compared to traditional investment (assuming the Hashkings itself will last long).
