Hive power up day is here and I was all set to power up . Being a fresher to the concept of powering up , I have always been wondering - what’s the need of powering up ?

But when I realised what benefit it serves , I was totally ready to power up and enter the amazing Hive power up day contests .

Benefits of Powering Up!
• You get to convert your hive to Hive power , it’s like a mini reminder every month that one gets to power up their Hive .

• Powering up Hive will increase Hive Power , more resource credits .

• More the HP , more is the returns earned.

• You earn the Badge for powering up .

I think , its a good experience overall ! Its been like 3 times since I have powered up ! I am like waiting for every 1st of month to participate .

when to do?

The 1st of every month is the Hive power up day and you earn a badge for it and just in case if you are lucky, you earn extra rewards.

Size of badge
The size of badge depends upon how much you have powered up ! The more the power up of the HP , the bigger is the batch graphic . One day I wish to power up to the max size (someday sure).

How to power up ?

In order to power up , you need to go to the wallet section .
Now , click the little arrow shaped button , you will then be directed to the market option and you can power up hbd to hive and hive to hp !
