I understand your perspective, but I don't share it. I don't see what's wrong with bots; they do amazing things, sometimes much more amazing than people. We all use automation in our daily lives to improve them. Soon you won't be driving that truck; you'll simply be reading a wonderful book while you travel.
Coding is advancing rapidly, and as with other human endeavors, we must adapt and use the tools ethically.
