Saturday was entirely devoted to a bike trip to the Brdy Mountains. The largest forest area in Bohemia. The meeting was in the Doubravka district, where I arrived from Lochotín, where the bikes were loaded on carriers. And we drove along the highway to Rokycany, then along the lower class roads through the village of Dobřív to the village of Strašice. There on the edge of the village right next to the forest of the former part of the military area. Take off the wheels, prepare to go. Refreshment. We went to the village of Dolní Kvaň. Part on the tourist and part on the bike path. You can't avoid the hills in Brdy and it can be good here.
Then we headed to the rocky lookout with a rocky sea. Jindřich's rock. View of forests, hills of the whole Brd. And the ruins of the castle Valdek. Here we had lunch, whoever had something with them. They rested and set off around the village of Komárov, where we drove along forest and field roads to the village of Zaječov. Here we visited the Gothic church with the adjacent monastery. But it started to twitch and there was a threat of rain. Just Brdy. So we whistled in the direction of Strašice through small villages on the route. They loaded the bikes, we had already reached Pilsen in the rain. Who accompanied me home. Well, I didn't finish clean. But a great trip.
Sobota byla celá věnována cyklovýletu, do pohoří Brdy. Největší lesní celistvá plocha v Čechách. Sraz byl ve čtvrti Doubravka, kam jsem dojel z Lochotína, tam se nakládaly kola na nosiče. A vyjely jsme po dálnici na Rokycany, poté silnicemi nižšich tříd přes obec Dobřív do obce Strašice. Tam na kraj obce hned u lesa bývalé části vojenského prostoru. Sundání kol, připrava na vyjetí. Občerstvení. Vyrazili jsme do obce Dolní Kvaň. Část po turistické a část po cyklotrase. Kopcům se v Brdech nevyhnete a umí zde být pořádné.
Poté jsme mířili k skalni vyhlídce s kamenným mořem. Jindřichova skála. Výhled na lesy, kopce celých Brd. A zříceninu hradu Valdek. Zde jsme dali oběd, co kdo měl s sebou. Odpočinuli a vyrazili kolem obce Komárov, kde jsme jeli po lesních a polních cestách až do obce Zaječov. Zde jsme si prohlédli gotický kostel s přilehlým klášterem. Ale začalo se zatahovat a hrozil déšť. Prostě Brdy. Tak jsme svištěli směr Strašice přes malé obce na trase. Naložili kola, do Plzně už jsme dojeli v dešti. Který mi doprovázel až domů. No čistý jsem nedojel. Ale prima výlet.
