This is a rework of William Adolphe Bouguereau's "Récolte de noisettes", "Harvest of Hazelnuts" or "The Nut Gatherers".
I don't know why but whenever I see these Neoclassic images depicting the beautiful countryside and happy I life I can't help but vandalize it. Rework in a modern context with a little hint to our futures. You see on the brink of a 2nd lockdown and virus in 24/25 and what seems like only the other day we overcame covid, despair is a more common theme with youth and the future.
This is just how I see where we're heading. Our kids will see less of the beauty around them and be more concerned with being watched, finding good food and avoiding bad air.
