Hola amigos de Hive.
Hoy os quiero mostrar unas imágenes que he realizado a un puente que tengo relativamente cerca.
En sus orígenes este puente servía para el cruce del río Palmones por la zona del Parque de Los Alcornocales de Los Barrio, Cádiz.
Hoy día sigue en pie pero esta como se puede ver en las imágenes muy deteriorado y sin ningún tipo de mantenimiento.
Un verdadera pena ya que desde mi punto de vista es una joya.
Los remaches oxidados me parecen una maravilla, una forma de construcción que tiene una antigüedad y una textura muy diferente a las pasarelas que se construyen hoy en día pero que no por ello deberíamos dejar que se deterioren y se pierdan.
Nos trasladan a una época mucho más industrial .
Today I want to show you some images that I have taken of a bridge that I have relatively close to me.
Originally this bridge was used to cross the Palmones river in the area of Los Alcornocales Park in Los Barrio, Cádiz.
Today it is still standing but as you can see in the pictures it is very deteriorated and without any kind of maintenance.
A real pity because from my point of view it is a jewel.
The rusty rivets seem to me a marvel, a form of construction that has an antiquity and a texture very different from the footbridges that are built today but that we should not let them deteriorate and be lost.
They take us back to a much more industrial age.
Aunque hoy día ya este puente no nos lleva a ningún sitio más que a un precioso entorno completamente verde.
Podría dársele una nueva vida y con unos retoques y un lavado de cara, tiene un maravilloso atractivo .
Me recuerda en su arquitectura a un puente de Málaga, llamado popularmente como "Puente de Los Alemanes".
Este tipo de puentes realizados en hierro vivo con remaches consiguen unas texturas y unos colores del oxido que para mi son realmente admirables.
Yo lo veo ideal, ¿ Qué opináis vosotros?
But nowadays this bridge leads us nowhere but to a beautiful green environment.
It could be given a new lease of life and with a few touches and a facelift, it has a wonderful appeal.**
****It reminds me in its architecture of a bridge in Malaga, popularly known as "Puente de Los Alemanes".
This type of bridges made of live iron with rivets get some textures and colours of rust that for me are really admirable.**
