The world of cryptocurrencies is so volatile that coins like Tether or SBD are really promising for non-investors. In those coins, normal people can find some type of stability (as long as the dollar is stable) therefore a company could pay you a fixed amount of Tether and you'll able to have a normal life. Now imagine that you get paid in a fixed amount of bitcoin, that would be beneficial for you in current times because bitcoin is climbing so fast. Now imagine you get paid in steem, everytime you will be able to buy fewer things because steem is going down constantly.

This isn't great for business, there won't be any economic security for employees in an economy bases in an unstable currency, like most cryptocurrencies compared to fiat.

Now let's imagine that somehow there's no more fiat in the world, just cryptocurrencies, a fully decentralized economy. In this new world, everything is sold in a decentralized market, there are decentralized exchanges, smart contracts are really smart... etc. A utopic blockchain world.

A new way to bring that stability will be a coin with a system like SBD but instead of being backed by dollars it will be backed by a basic market basket like the inverse of CPI.

For example, the minimum wage could be set to 1000 of this new coin and you'll be guaranteed that with 1000 coins you will be able to buy X times the market basket. And because everything will be in the decentralized market, there won't be a way to manipulate that coin.

I believe this is a good way to get rid of fiat and also to take care of the current inequality, the only problem is that we don't live in that utopic world yet.
