Сьогодні я прокинулася о першій ночі від сильних вибухів. Їх пролунало кілька підряд. Перший був найгучніший і найближчий, і я одразу згадала свої відчуття і тривогу, які мала в п'ятій ранку 24 лютого, коли Росія вторглася в Україну.

Звісно, що я знову відчула тривогу. Але психіка вже була підготовлена. Різко прокинувшись від вибуху, я одразу зрозуміла, що це помста Росії за знищений українськими військовими російський крейсер "Москва". Тому що ми, українці, знаємо нашого ворога, його почерк, його рівень ненависті, можемо передбачити його дії, його патологічну схильність до насильства. Ми знаємо правду про Росію століттями, бо це знання передається у нас з покоління в покоління.

Waking up abruptly from the explosion, I immediately realized that this was Russia's revenge for the Russian cruiser "Moscow" destroyed by the Ukrainian military. Because we, Ukrainians, know our enemy, his handwriting, his level of hatred, we can predict his actions, his pathological tendency to violence. We have known the truth about Russia for centuries, because this knowledge is passed down from generation to generation.
Нарешті всю правду про Росію має прийняти весь світ, більше не повинно бути жодних ілюзій, жодних крихких й оманливих сподівань, що з цією країною можна про щось домовитися і укладати якісь серйозні угоди. Росія купує все і всіх тільки за гроші, це історично доведений факт. Ті, хто на них купуються, стають заручниками і рабами благ і розкоші за криваві російські гроші, за якими стоять убивства, смерті невинних, зруйновані долі, міста, країни.
Finally, the whole truth about Russia must be accepted by the whole world, there must be no more illusions, no more deceptive hopes that something can be agreed with this country and some serious agreements can be made. Russia buys everything and everyone only for money, this is a historically proven fact. Those who take the russian money become hostages and slaves of luxuries for the bloody Russian money, behind which are murders, deaths of innocents, ruined destinies, cities, countries.
Я думаю, що все це російське зло, яке лавиною вдарило по Україні, це — виклик всьому світу. Україна і так знала, що Росія намагатиметься завдати нам болю. Війна в Україні — це оприлюднення правди про все: про те, хто така Росія, про те, що певні світові інституції втратили свою силу, що поняття "європейські цінності" припало пилом і втратило своє сакральне значення для тих, хто найчастіше вдається до нього у своїй риториці. Війна 21 століття в Україні просто зірвала завісу і викрила вади світу, зануреного в суцільний комфорт матеріальних благ.
I think that all this Russian evil, which hit Ukraine with an avalanche, is a challenge to the whole world. Ukraine already knew that Russia would try to hurt us. The war in Ukraine is the revelation of the truth about everything: who Russia is, that certain world institutions have lost their power, that the concept of "European values" has lost its sacred significance for those who often resorts to them in his rhetoric. The war of the 21st century in Ukraine simply broke the veil and exposed the shortcomings of the world, which immersed in the complete comfort of material goods.
Ця війна показала, що прийшов час новому світопорядку, що все потрібно переосмислити, що більше так тривати не може, що надто стало багато брехні, корупції, байдужості. Бо коли одна країна світу — Росія — може вдаватися до терору у Грузії та Сирії зі знанням, що їй за це нічого не буде, що злочини лишаються непокареними, вона з таким самим відчуттям вседозволеності і самовпевненості здійснила вторгнення в Україну. Бо думала, що світ вчергове проковтне її злочини, що світ вчергове виявить стурбованість, і Україна стане новим анклавом Росії.
This war has shown that the time has come for a new world order, that everything needs to be rethought, that it can no longer continue like this, that there are too many lies, corruption and indifference. Because when one country in the world, Russia, can resort to terror in Georgia and Syria with the knowledge that its crimes remain unpunished, it has invaded Ukraine with the same sense of permissiveness and self-confidence. Because Russia thought that the world would once again swallow her crimes, that the world would once again show concern, and Ukraine would become a new enclave of Russia.
Будьмо чесними, світ сподівався що Україна впаде за два дні, і після цього можна буде жити по-старому, мовляв, нехай Росія тішиться новою іграшкою, аби тільки нас не чіпала.
Але Україна не те, щоб не впала, а вже другий місяць мужньо тримає оборону і показує, що таке справжні людські цінності, що таке справжній патріотизм, любов, добро, правда.

Нам треба всім, без винятку, побачити Правду. Бо чим більше ми будемо ховатися від правди, тим більше шкоди буде завдано людству. Правда ніколи не зникне, навіть якщо ми всіляко намагатимемося її приховати, закривати очі, і вдавати, що ми її не помічаємо, що правда нас не стосується. Не треба себе заспокоювавати цим, бо правда стосується всіх і кожного. Якщо вона вас не торкнулася сьогодні, то це неодмінно станеться завтра.
We all need to see the Truth, without exception. Because the more we hide from the truth, the more damage will be done to humanity. The truth will never disappear, even if we try our best to hide it, close our eyes, and pretend that we don't notice it, that the truth doesn't concern us. We should not reassure ourselves with this, because the truth applies to everyone. If the Truth didn't touch you today, it will definitely happen tomorrow.
Так, правда гірка. Знати правду буває дуже боляче. Але що раніше ми про неї дізнаємося, то краще. Щоб не було жодних, ЖОДНИХ ілюзій, які заведуть нас не туди.
