When you have the ultimate in loyalty there is no choice but to return exactly that with everything you have.

Yep I will die for my dog and my dog will fight to the death for me.

In fact I have to protect him more because if he protects me and hurts somebody he runs the risk of consequences and us having to put him down.

So yes my previous dog saved my life in numerous ways and this dog gets the benefit of all that trust as he is Young and growing into his position as a legally protected service dog.
