Pragmata Eight's betrayal.
After rebooting IDUS, it begins sending the dead filament to Earth. Huge and Diana learned that Eight was using them to complete her plan to avenge Daisy, the scientist who created Eight and Diana's daughter. I guess Eight blames Earth for Daisy's death and wants to destroy it with the dead filament. After Hugh repairs Diana, she obtains the ability to clear dead filament off of bot enemies
