The first power up of Gaming Photography | 01 January, 2024

The Gaming Photography Community started the new year throwing a contest and now its time to do the very first power up in this curation account and taking part in something great.

I noticed @hivebuzz is gifting power bee badges to all power up day participants and you can understand more by checking this post. And I noticed another hiver, @traciyork who is also working in hive power up and you can understand more from this post.

So, yeah when I tried checking my profile in hivebuzz, I noticed this countdown for the current power up day when I was about to do the power up. There are 12 Power Up Day badges for the whole 2024 year and all of them were locked at that time.

I clicked on the Power Up Day badge for the January month of 2024 and it was also locked. Each badges should be unlocked after powering up at least 10 HIVE.

I went to the wallet when it was like this having only 15 HP which came directly from post rewards as all the payouts are set to 50% HP and 50% Liquid. And after converting the HBD into HIVE the wallet had total 28.039 HIVE. Now it's time to powering up all the HIVE.

After clicking on the power up button, there was this box where I had to set the amount and I clicked on the balance so all the balance went there in the amount and then I did the power up.

You can see the different in the wallet now from where the liquid HIVE was transferred into HIVE POWER and the total owned HIVE POWER is now 43.048. Let's return to the hivebuzz profile.

The power up day badge for January is has already been unlocked but there's a question mark and a mystery box there as we have to wait until the power up day is finished to find out which Power-Bee badge we have reached.

There, we have unlocked the first one, 11 more to go and we got this cute notification in our latest publication that confirmed us about completing the task successfully.
