(Sandbox) announced that it has succeeded for the third time in collecting nearly 3330 Ethereum coins through a virtual electronic game within only 6 hours.

(Sandbox), owned by the virtual games company (Animoca Brands), explained that it was able to sell virtual activities in an electronic game in exchange for Ethereum in just six hours, according to what was reported by (Decrypt).

And stated that it was able to obtain about 3330 Ethereum coins with a total value of about 440 thousand dollars, by selling 12,348 virtual building blocks within the game.

The company also indicated that its virtual games rely on Ethereum technology and take players and users for a unique experience within a virtual world.

Inside the game, there are approximately 166.5 thousand virtual pieces called (LAND), which is a simple unit launched by (Sandbox) on its platform for virtual electronic games, and the unit is a square area of ​​about 96 x 96 meters.

This comes in light of the widespread growth of (Sandbox), which has already become one of the most prominent virtual game platforms based on Blockchain technology and Ethereum, and its games have been downloaded 40 million times.

The platform first put up LAND parts and units for sale to players in December of last year, and at that time it succeeded in selling 3000 parts within four hours.

It then resumed the move on February 16th by selling 6,192 lots of (LAND) in exchange for Ethereum coins, and plans a fourth sales round later this year.
