Today I learned from our neighbour, that our home has been made available to rent for others starting next month. I have no idea how that may have happened. What I am certain of is that we haven't been contacted about it, nor are we behind any notice.

Now I need to contact the landlord on Monday and ask how it is possible, that our apartment is up for rent while we haven't shown any intent of moving out. And if the lease is being terminated, I need to ask why they haven't informed us about it.

It's an interesting New Year, at the very least.
