SteemitPhotoChallenge Entry- Between Light and Dark

These are my 3 images for the Steemitphotochallenge by @jamtaylor, all original works by myself taken in Japan.

The Lighthouse

Taken on a short trip to Kochi on the island of Shikoku. This was just after i'd bought my Sony 24-70mm GM and I wanted to try it out properly before travelling to America. I spent a couple of nights camping in my van waking up early and going to bed late.
For this shot I'd woke up early and hiked to the viewpoint to watch the sun rise. I was hoping for beautiful colours but ended up with storm clouds, but with happy with the shot non the less.

Mizushima factory complex in the west of Okayama is one of the famous local photo spots, and I've been here numerous times. No matter the weather this place always looks great, and theres always something going on in the image.

They Only Come Out at Night

Okayama is famous for two type of fireflies. These are the Genji Botaru that emit a slow pulsing green light as they dance around. I love shooting them as no 2 photo are the same.
